Our car hire company cannot be held responsible if clients have not read and understood our Terms & Conditions. Kyprexxo Car Hire reserves the right to change, modify, update, add or remove all or any portion of these terms at any time at its discretion, with or without notice. (Confirmed car hire bookings will not be affected). Your continued use of this webpage signifies that you agree to these car rental terms.
Our Prices Include CDWTP Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection
CDWTP Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection covers the vehicle’s damage liability, fire and theft with a deductible amount. For car categories:
A: 450.00 euro, B, B1, B2, C, C1: 600.00 euro, D, D1, E, E1: 650.00 euro, I, K, K1, L: 1,000.00 euro,
CDWTP does not provide any coverage concerning damages to the main body of the car or damages caused to the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, wheels and tires. All accidents and damages must be notified immediately to the rental company at the time of the incident. Failure to do so will be in breach of Terms and Conditions and insurance cover will be invalid. All accidents must be supplemented by insurance and or police report where necessary. In the event of theft or attempted theft, driver(s) must be in possession of vehicle keys. CDWTP does not cover stolen personal items. CDWTP will not be covered if theft occurred due to negligence.
Exceptions: The insurance does not cover damages that occur off road, driving with negligence, parking lots, or driving to the North of Cyprus as it is not under the control of the Republic of Cyprus. Kyprexxo Motor Agency Ltd. is also unable to provide any Roadside Assistance in the North of Cyprus in the case of breakdown, theft or accident. Driving to the north part of Cyprus is done entirely at the renter’s own risk. Kyprexxo Motor Agency LTd has the right to claim from the renter the full amount to cover damages caused to the rented vehicle when driven in the north part of Cyprus.
TOP up Insurance (Twp – wug) – COVERS – Wheels/tires (not including negligence), underside of cars and glass (windows, windshields, mirrors) – covers damages to the interior of the vehicle saloon, underside, windshields, mirrors and tires of the rental vehicle. Basic condition is that any damage is not due to any infringement of road code circulation. The daily charge for all vehicle classes is 4.00 euro per day including vat for all car groups. No insurance covers damages that occur off road. Insurance companies do not offer any coverage to the rented vehicle if driven in the north part of Cyprus not under the control of the Cyprus republic. Kyprexxo Motor Agency Ltd. is also unable to provide any roadside assistance there in the case of breakdown or accident. Driving to the north part of Cyprus is done entirely at the renter’s own risk. Kyprexxo Motor Agency Ltd. has the right to claim from the renter any amount to cover damages caused to the rental vehicle when driven in the northern part of Cyprus.
North Cyprus: Due to insurance policy, visitors to the recognized Republic of Cyprus are NOT permitted to drive our rental cars in to the north illegal Turkish occupied part of Cyprus under any condition (even if they buy their own insurance)
Driver & License Requirements
Upon collection, present your valid driver’s license to the car rental provider. You must have held this for 3 years or more. You will also need to provide your passport/ID as additional proof of identity. All drivers must be aged between 24 and 71.
Additional drivers: One additional driver is free of charge. Further additional drivers are charged €4.00 per day (includes VAT) maximum 4 drivers per vehicle.
Fair Fuel Policy: SAME TO SAME:
No charge when vehicles are returned with the same amount of fuel. If the vehicle is returned with missing fuel, a refueling charge of €15 will be applied, in addition to the cost of any missing fuel.
Parking and traffic/camera fines violations are the drivers’ responsibility. If you receive a fine or are caught on camera violating the speed limit or any other violation the hirer must inform the rental company immediately. Not doing so the rental company has the right to charge the hirer the fine even if he has departed from Cyprus by charging his credit/debit card and informing the hirer with proof of the violation either by email or by message.
Services On request
Cyprus airport car hire pick-up / delivery:
You will be met outside the arrival hall at Paphos/Larnaca Airport by a representative and will then be taken to the car rental provider’s depot by courtesy shuttle bus, this is a short journey from the airport terminal. The service at Paphos/Larnaca Airport operates Monday to Sunday from 07:00 HRS to 20:00 HRS. Bookings with a collection or return time outside of the normal opening hours are available, on request. for the hours between 20:00 – 22:00 there will be an additional charge of 20.00 euros for out of hours, payable locally. We will not accept any bookings after 22:00 hrs until 07:00 hrs.
When making a booking please ensure that you supply the correct incoming flight number, date and time along with a valid mobile number. KYPREXXO cannot be held responsible if incorrect information is given which results in the representative not being at the airport. If there has been a delay it is suggested that you contact the area representative on the number given on your confirmation to advise him/her accordingly. If you do not advise us, you will be considered to be a ‘NO SHOW’ and will be charged according to cancellation policy as set out below.

For Larnaca airport Pickups
Pick-up instructions
For pickup at Larnaca airport you will be met by our representative outside of departures holding a sign with your name on it, when you exit passport control you will come to arrivals, take the lift upstairs and exit the departure terminal building. You will see Costa Coffee opposite, if you cannot find our representative, please call +357 99720743, our offices are a few minutes away from the collection point. When you arrive at our office you will inspect together with a member of our team your rental car, sign the required documents, pay the amount due, and drive away.
For Paphos airport Pickups
Pick-up instructions
For pickup at Paphos airport you will be met by our representative outside of the airport at arrival exit point holding a sign with your name on it. If you cannot find our representative, please call +357 99290153, our offices are a few minutes away from the collection point. When you arrive at our office you will inspect together with a member of our team your rental car, sign the required documents, pay the amount due, and drive away.
DELIVERIES
Car delivery to hotels: We offer car delivery (daytime) to hotels ONLY anywhere in the Republic of Cyprus except Poli Chrysochou/Latchi. For deliveries at the hotels there will be an extra charge payable locally upon delivery as stated below:
Limassol: No charge
Paphos downtown: Euro 15.00 extra each way
Coral Bay / Peyia: Euro 20.00 extra each way
Larnaca downtown: Euro 20.00 extra each way
Protaras: Euro 25.00 extra each way
Agia Napa: Euro 25.00 extra each way
One-way rentals: One way drop offs are allowed to the following locations with a minimum advance notice of 48 hours. Fees to be charged as stated below including Vat:
Paphos-Limassol – 30.00 euro Paphos-Larnaca – 50.00 euro Limassol-Larnaca – 30.00 euro
Limassol-Paphos – 30.00 euros Larnaca-Paphos – 50.00 euro Larnaca-Limassol – 30.00 euro
Extra equipment: Childseat/Booster seats are available for an additional charge of €4 per day, (VAT included). They must be fitted by a parent or guardian. GPS Satellite Navigation is available for an additional charge of €7 per day. Maximum charge of 50.00 euros per booking.
If the GPS Satellite Navigation is lost or stolen there is a charge of €220.00
BOOKING TERMS
Minimum car rental: period is 3 consecutive car hire days. 1 rental day = 24 hours
Reservations: In order to enable us to secure and confirm a car hire booking, a 20% down payment of the total amount is required to be pre-paid by a valid credit/debit card. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or credit/debit card upon car delivery. However, for peace of mind, we recommend full payment in advance.
Late drop off: Unless by prior arrangement vehicles that are returned later than time stipulated on contract will be subject to an extra day’s rental.
Extension of car rental: KYPREXXO offices must be informed of this at least 48 hours prior to the expiry of the agreed car hire period.
Availability: Cars are booked by group. We cannot guarantee any make or model. However, every effort will be made to supply the car make requested.
KYPREXXO Car hire reserves the right to issue a free upgrade of your requested car group without prior notice, if the car group booked becomes unavailable for reasons unforeseen.
Choose the right car: Please choose your rental car according to your personal requirements (e.g. number of persons, luggage size etc) KYPREXXO Car Hire might not be able to change the car on the spot, neither will be held responsible if the car booked is not spacious enough for your personal luggage. In the event that your luggage does not fit in the car, you will be suggested by our representative to hire a taxi at your expense. If this is still unacceptable, then you will be allowed to cancel your booking by paying 3 car rental days plus delivery expenses if applicable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the rental date: Pay 10% of the total amount.
Cancellations made 6 – 1 days prior to the car rental date: Pay 25% of the total amount.
Cancellations made 1 – 0 days: Pay 100% of the total amount.
“No show Up”: Pay 100% of the total amount.
Note: If you have fully (or more than 10%) paid in advance and you wish to cancel your booking within the time limits as above stated, then the difference amount will be refunded. KYPREXXO Car hire will be flexible for emergency medical cases.
COMPLAINTS POLICY
Any complaints should be addressed to the company DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD. Complaints received after departure / returning the vehicle will not be accepted neither answered.
